Defending the Faith

At least basic apologetics is needed for people of all ages. Apologetics has moved to the forefront of defending the Christian faith from disinformation, misunderstandings, misinformation and even lies and attacks. It is sometimes a misunderstood and intimidating word, so I’ve summarized the essence of apologetics into Defending the Faith, a new work developed from my podcast series that is suitable for any age from 8-80. That name is based on 1 Peter 3:15, “…Always be prepared to give a defense to everyone who asks you the reason for the hope that is in you. But respond with gentleness and respect.”

Any parent or grandparent, aunt or uncle, who has kids, grandkids, or other relatives needs to engage with a solid program so that youth and adults alike have the best chance to understand how we know our faith is true and be able to defend it.

To be clear, at some point, if not already, everyone will be challenged and criticized for their belief. What will they do when that occurs? Will their beliefs be shaken? Will they develop serious doubts? Will it lead to leaving the church and the faith? Or will they engage with the individuals, stand firm in their faith, and help lead others to the belief we know to be true?

That latter option is the mission of Defending the Faith. It is a two-volume work, both a compilation and a curriculum if desired. It can be used in a group setting or for a youth, adult, parent, grandparent, relative, or anyone who has interest in seeking answers to tough questions about God and Christianity.
